decided to take a trip down to the art institute but i got off the wrong stop so decided to walk through the millennium park. saw all the "must-see" monuments. chicago city is quite a nice city actually and i am loving it, the mixture of new and old buildings. :)
the art institute was crowded as it was a free admission night. abit too crowded and noisy but then again i'm not an arty farty person so the art didnt really make sense to me. couldnt appreciate it as well as i wished i could but oh well, it was a nice browse nevertheless. pictures here. enjoy.
oh, on the other note, i cooked again. this time the disaster was i created a mess of my stove and i probably spend more time cleaning it than actually cooking. haha. but it turned out great, quite yummy actually. its beef stew, taiwanese style. unfortunately dumb me forgot i only have one pot so couldnt cook noodles to go with the stew, end up eating it with rice. looks decent right??
