saved by staples

i got this really pretty turquoise skirt from cambodia, it could have been dirt cheap but i didnt bother to bargain so it was just cheap. unfortunately the stitching is really bad and a hole appeared at my thigh area. its not very glamorous walking around exposing a teeny bit of my thigh; yet there was no needle and thread in sight to close up the gap. the next best tool that came to mind was the stapler. snap snap a few times and my skirt was good as new. which reminds me of my uni days where we made our dinner and dance costume out of cloth and staples. dont believe it, see for yourself! the only down part was some staples didnt bend properly and it ended poking in the flesh. *ouch.
