i crashed immediately after i reached home yesterday night. the immense pressure at work was too much for me. woke up bright and early, received some happy news on accommodation and US stuff, was all ready for another day. 8:30am: audit roll-call where we went through the important things to take note. 9:15am: received news auditors were on their way, everyone on standby. everyone trying to continue work "as-per-normal" but our hearts were beating away, mumbling silent prayers that our handphones wouldn't go off. 3:00pm: auditors coming for site audit, frantically packed all our tables and files away. 4:00pm: received news that auditors went to another department for audit, not coming today.
our faces just went blank. what?!?!?!?@!!?! one whole day of anticipation and they didnt come. i've aged 20 yrs in 2 days. this is definitely the most stressful last week of work. :(
